Part of what I want to do with this blog is to make it a discussion board to identify Startups and Companies in "Green Tech" Area and analyze their prospects for growth. This will probably help me and any one following these blogs to become involved with these companies, either by investing in them or doing business with them and thus making some money out of it. I myself invest and have a bit of money in the energy area and would like to grow my portfolio in this area. So far this year has not been kind to me. However, I am in this sector for the long haul and I have strong faith that there is a lot of money to be made in this sector.
Smart Grids
I have been hearing a bit about Smart Grids Lately. Its nothing new, but I have been hearing more and more about it recently. I found a Startup that has some products in the market and they have a nice little demo here. Take a look. The company's name is Spring Field Networks.
